The upper rubber mount separated from the metal collar on the left strut 6 months after install. Rock Auto sent me a replacement ( which I had to purchase ) and gave me credit after returning the defective strut. 2 months later, and the other strut has the same problem. But Rock Auto does not have anymore of this strut in stock. So I am stuck listening to this annoying rattle until they decide to restock. I do not drive off road, so I don’t know if KYB is the strut to buy if they fail this quickly. Was happy with performance ( much better than original Ranchos ).

How many orders of magnitude are Bilstein greater than KYB? And for the huge price differential, how much better will the real world results actually be?

I also run KYB gas shocks in my Miata. They’re great as an OE replacement.
