Both are good brands. It’s less about the brand and more about buying the right tire for your use case. If it drops below 40 degrees F (5 degrees C) where you live, you should buy winter tires.

That said, given a choice between the two I am partial to Michelin. I really like their Crossclimate 2 for areas that see a little ice and snow, but often see wet and dry roads as well. Although it is technically an all season tire, the Crossclimate 2 comes with the traction snowflake on the sidewall and performs very well in all snow tire tests I’ve seen.

Don’t skimp on tires; they are the only part of the car that touches the ground. Tires impact braking, turning, and acceleration. The more traction you have, the safer your vehicle will be.

In reply to Katherine Brown. How long is the tire warranty? That should give you an idea about the life you should expect from them. I don't know about tire noise. I have never run those tires.

I have a 2019 Toyota Camry is the Hankook optimo H727 tires a good pick for a quiet ride and mileage on the tires how many miles on the tires my sizes tires are 235/40/19.

I live in an area that gets heavy snow. Last year I put set of Sumotoma A/S PO2 on my VW van. And we did get heavy snows the last winter. I was very impressed with this tire. Your website is great. Makes it easy to find the right tires. Thank you.
